The Prince and Princess of Wales expressed gratitude in special statement following their appearance at the annual Garter Day ceremony in Windsor.
Taking to their official social media account, the royal couple shared: 'A pleasure attending the Order of the Garter today in Windsor. A brilliant celebration of tradition, service and duty. Thank you to everyone involved.'
Princess Kate made a stunning return to the royal event after missing last year's ceremony while undergoing cancer treatment.
Dressed in a white Portrait dress paired with a hat by Sean Barrett, Kate looked radiant as she proudly watched Prince William, alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla, take part in one of the most vibrant and historic traditions on the royal calendar.
During the event, the Princess of Wales shared a light-hearted moment with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, as the two were seen laughing together on the Galilee Porch while waiting for their husbands to pass by in the procession.
The giggling exchange meant Kate briefly missed catching Prince William's glance as he walked by.
After the service at St George's Chapel, the couple reunited and enjoyed a carriage ride together back to Windsor Castle, smiling and chatting, much to the delight of royal fans.
