Princess Beatrice appeared in a rather serious mood as she joined the royal family alongside husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi during the first day of the Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
The couple, who welcomed their second daughter earlier this year, added fuel to speculation that there may be trouble in paradise after the couple was caught in a rather tense moment at the event.
Beatrice, dressed in a pink and white checkered outfit, was also seen wearing a major frown while standing next to Edoardo, who wore a morning suit, holding a straight expression. The couple also did not ride in the coaches as the royal family headed to the venue in a procession.
However, the carriage ride likely never happened due to the limited space in the four coaches that carried senior members of the family including King Charles, Queen Camilla. Meanwhile, Beatrice was also joined by her mother, Sarah Ferguson for the annual event.
In a photo captured by royal journalist Rebecca English, Beatrice was all smiles next to the Duchess of York.
Moreover, it is also possible that the cameras captured a bad moment. Although, it was enough to add fuel to the fire after a previous report suggested possible problems between the couple.
According to love and relationship coach Nicole Moore that trouble looms for the couple especially since they spend “a lot of time apart”.
She told The List that Edoardo’s job leads him to travel long distances which can “definitely put a big strain” on the them and eventually lead to becoming “emotionally disconnected”.
The expert noted that since Beatrice’s husband shares his first child, eight-year-old son Wolfie, with former wife Dara Huang, it could “put pressure on her marriage and lead to fights”.
She warned that “major issues” were en route if Edoardo “undermines” his wife’s authority as stepparent in favour of his son.
